Disclaimer

Please read this notice before using Carlotta Coach workouts, programs, coaching services, articles, videos or other educational content.

Last updated: 4 September 2026

1. Purpose and scope

This Disclaimer applies to carlottacoach.com, Carlotta Coach programs and coaching services, the connected training app, downloadable materials, articles, videos, emails and social media content.

Carlotta Coach provides fitness and performance coaching and general educational information. The content is intended to support informed exercise participation; it is not a substitute for professional care that is appropriate to your individual circumstances.

2. Not medical or clinical advice

Carlotta Coach does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, physiotherapy, pelvic-health physiotherapy, rehabilitation, psychology, mental-health treatment or other clinical services unless a separate service is expressly supplied by an appropriately registered professional.

Information about exercise, recovery, mobility, pain, pregnancy, postnatal return, pelvic-floor considerations or wellbeing is general fitness information. It does not create a clinician–patient relationship and should not be used to diagnose or treat a condition.

Seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing exercise if you have a medical condition, injury, unexplained symptom, recent surgery, pregnancy or postnatal concern, medication that may affect exercise, or uncertainty about your ability to participate safely.

3. Exercise risk and safety

Physical activity involves inherent risks, including fatigue, falls, collision, equipment failure, aggravation of an existing condition and musculoskeletal or other injury. No screening process can identify every possible risk.

You are responsible for using suitable space and equipment, following instructions, selecting an appropriate level, maintaining hydration and stopping when an activity is unsafe or beyond your ability. Do not continue through sharp, severe, unusual or increasing pain.

Stop exercising and seek urgent assistance when appropriate.
Symptoms such as chest pain, fainting, severe breathing difficulty, signs of stroke, significant bleeding or another medical emergency require immediate professional help. In Australia, call Triple Zero (000). If you are elsewhere, use your local emergency number.

For non-emergency concerns—including persistent pain, dizziness, unusual shortness of breath or worsening symptoms—stop and seek appropriate health advice before continuing.

4. Pregnancy and postnatal exercise

Pregnancy and postnatal recovery differ for every person. Birth type, healing, sleep, feeding, pelvic-floor function, abdominal-wall function, previous activity and medical history can affect exercise readiness and progression.

Postnatal coaching supports a gradual return to exercise but is not pelvic-floor treatment, diagnosis or rehabilitation. Seek appropriate medical or pelvic-health guidance if you experience pain, bleeding that concerns you, urinary or bowel leakage, pelvic pressure or heaviness, a vaginal bulge, wound concerns, dizziness, unusual shortness of breath or symptoms that worsen with activity.

A general clearance does not automatically mean every exercise or intensity is suitable. Screening information and ongoing symptoms should guide progression, and Carlotta Coach may pause or adapt training while you obtain relevant professional advice.

5. Fencing performance training

Fencing preparation may include footwork, strength, speed, mobility, conditioning and movement drills. These activities do not replace technical instruction, weapon coaching, club supervision, protective-equipment requirements or competition rules.

Use an appropriate surface and safe training area. Partner drills, weapon work and high-speed movement should be performed only with suitable supervision, equipment and space. A physical-preparation program cannot guarantee selection, ranking, victory or competition performance.

6. Ready-made programs and personalised coaching

Ready-made programsThese are general, pre-designed products. They are not created from your individual health history, movement assessment or personal circumstances.
Personalised coachingThis uses the information you provide to shape fitness or performance support, but it remains within the scope of exercise coaching and does not replace clinical advice.
Free trialThe Free 7-Day App & Training Trial is a standard preview, not an individual exercise prescription or personalised coaching service.
In-person trainingAvailability, observation and coaching in person can improve context but cannot eliminate inherent exercise risk or replace medical assessment.

Provide accurate information and report meaningful changes. Carlotta Coach may recommend modification, postponement or clearance where a service appears unsuitable or outside coaching scope.

7. Nutrition and lifestyle information

Any nutrition, hydration, sleep, recovery or lifestyle content is general education unless a separate service is expressly delivered by an appropriately qualified professional. It is not an individual meal plan, medical nutrition therapy or treatment for an eating disorder, allergy, intolerance or health condition.

Seek advice from an appropriately qualified health professional for individual nutrition needs, diagnosed conditions, pregnancy or feeding concerns, medication interactions or disordered-eating concerns.

8. Results, examples and testimonials

Individual results vary. No specific change in fitness, strength, weight, body composition, mobility, wellbeing, fencing performance or competition outcome is promised or guaranteed.

Results depend on factors including participation, consistency, training history, health, recovery, sleep, nutrition, stress, available equipment, environment and individual response. Testimonials, athlete achievements and before-and-after examples describe particular experiences and are not typical-result guarantees.

9. Accuracy, availability and external content

Carlotta Coach aims to keep content useful and current, but exercise knowledge, platform functions, prices, schedules and external resources may change. General content may contain an error or become outdated and should be considered in the context of your own needs.

The Website may link to or use Trainerize, Stripe, YouTube, Google or other third-party services. 10. Liability and consumer rights

To the extent permitted by law, you remain responsible for decisions made from general Website or educational content and for participating within your abilities. Carlotta Coach is not responsible for loss caused solely by inaccurate or withheld participant information, disregard of safety instructions, unauthorised sharing or use outside the stated purpose.

Your legal rights are not removed. Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Purchase, cancellation and service terms are addressed in the Terms & Conditions and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
